John Galliano Goes Fur Free!

The designer and creative director John Galliano of the fashion company Maison Margiela just went fur free with his new designs of clothes. His recent collections are showing “what the modern woman really wants– and more and more, that doesn’t include fur” according to Vogue. This idea sprang about from his chance encounter with PETA’s senior vice president. They ended up sharing different views on fur. The senior vice president Dan Matthews shared with Galliano about the mistreatment of animals on fur farms in China. Since then he has switched to fur free design and continues releasing his collections which include Spring 2018 Ready-To-Wear and Spring 2018 Couture.  MB2
