Logomania: Return of the Logos

Throughout the past years popular trends from the 80’s, 90’s, and 00’s have come back in style. Looks like dad shoes, plaid patterns, platform shoes, and tracksuits have been seen everywhere ranging from celebrities to everyday people. With these trends comes the return of the excessive use of logos. This is seen most prominently with the brands Gucci,
Balenciaga, and especially Fendi. The Fendi Zucca print was featured on Nicki Minaj’s Chun Li single cover, with her wearing a full Fendi outfit. Kylie Jenner even posted a picture on instagram in a bodycon Fendi dress walking her daughter Stormi in a Fendi stroller. Gucci has also gained a huge following within the past years and everyone can quickly identify their double G logo. The same goes for Balenciaga who debuted a new logo in September of last year and has many pieces with the new logo adorned all over it. The past is definitely making a comeback and personally I love it. How do you feel about this “new” trend?
